This is the second piece I've seen in two days touting the benefits of an
"image everything" strategy that would have saved the day for PG&E; both are
patently wrong and based on a combination of mis-information and a lack of
information.

I replied to this one and they didn't feel that my comments were too
'stinging' to publish. The other piece was a blog post from someone I know
personally, and he and I have discussed the information he provided off line
and come to an understanding about how I felt it may be construed as a bit
misleading.

The whole concept of this case being a poster child for image everything is
just plain wrong. This isn't being said because I was WAY TOO CLOSE to this
forest to see the trees, it's because logically, there are MANY cases in
which imaging is too costly and overkill to suggest for entire collections
of information.
