I apologize for re-posting this.  I have included the information from the attachment.
The OCC Records Management Program Office is looking for interns to assist with filing, packing, moving and removing records at the Office of Thrift Supervision ("OTS"), which is integrating with the OCC on July 21, 2011, pursuant to the Dodd-Frank Financial Regulatory Reform Bill.  Interns do not need to have a background in Records Management to be qualified for this internship.

Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC")

Background:

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is the world's preeminent bank supervisory agency.  The OCC charters, regulates and supervises the integrity of our national banks. These internship positions are within the Financial Management Division ("FM"), which is responsible for performing the financial support functions of the agency.

FM's mission is to provide leadership to promote the efficient management of OCC's resources and assets, quality financial services to customers based on their needs, and complete, useful financial information on OCC operations that fully supports financial performance reporting.

Position Description:

Interns selected for this position will be performing the following duties:

*       Reviewing OTS records and processing those records per OTS's records retention schedule;
*       Writing finding aids/inventory lists of OTS's records pursuant to Federal guidelines;
*       Packing boxes of records;
*       Moving boxes of records; and
*       Doing data entry.

Qualifications and Requirements:

The OCC is looking for students to perform clerical, administrative work.  Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:

*       U.S. Citizenship;
*       Be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted and stoop, bend, and reach;
*       Detail-oriented, especially when handling documents and with data entry;
*       Strong organizational skills;
*       The ability to work independently after training;
*       Ability to communicate effectively;
*       Possess a functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
*       Ability to work efficiently in a team environment; and
*       Availability of 20-24 hours per week, minimum.

This position is located at the Office of Thrift Supervision headquarters at 1700 G Street, NW, Washington, DC.  This location is metro-accessible via the Blue, Orange and Red lines.

Additional Information:

Positions available: 2+

Desired Start Date: Early to mid-April

End Date: September 1, 2011

Hours per week: 20 to 24 minimum (interns may be able to work more than 24 hours per week depending on the needs of the project)

Paid: Hourly wage, $12-16 per hour depending on experience
