The attorney may blame the judge, but I suspect it is the attorney who has the issue.  I would suggest looking for new counsel.  

In certain jurisdictions you may not be able to submit images to the court, but I know of only one court that requires original documents.  And what that court considers an original is not something any of us would even consider as acceptable.
