Are you looking for a job or even thinking about looking for a job?  Then this is the workshop for you.  Job Search Workshop III, sponsored by the Special Libraries Association (SLA), Maryland Chapter, will provide valuable information whether you are early in your career or a seasoned professional.  We learned from Job Search Workshop II in April that you wanted a full day of focused, "How do I find a job?" information.  We plan to deliver!

The day begins with a panel discussion including information professionals who really know about jobs in early career years, federal sector and non-traditional roles.  This will be followed by top notch resume writing advice from TRAK Records and Libraries along with practical reviews of your resume.  The afternoon will continue with Susan Fifer-Canby, Vice President Emeritus of National Geographic Society's Libraries and Information Services, showing you how to outshine the competition during your interview.  She will even give you an opportunity to practice with your peers and receive valid feedback.  Finally the day's activities will wrap up with expert advice from Roberta Shaffer, Law Librarian of Congress, on establishing and staying on track with a successful career.
