While I agree with Jesse that the AIIM ERM Certificate Program is worth taking, I wouldn't consider it a "RIM Overview Course", if only because electronic records management is not all of RIM.

You might consider suggesting to your client attending the Annual ARMA Conference, which is coming up in October.

Besides the regular conference sessions, there is a "pre-conference seminar" which is an intro to RIM. In addition, the opportunity to meet with RIM practitioners having a wide variety of experience in many different industries is invaluable.
