No? discard it or place it in a temporary folder with rules set to delete
after x days
Yes? Move it into a folder that has a retention period consistent with the
content/value of the message
Most applications allow you to search all folders for a word/phrase/sender
so you'll still be able to easily find your messages. But if you leave them
in a haystack, assigning retention requires you to first locate the needles.
