Incumbent will provide archival services and records management support to
state and local governmental entities, and will provide assistance on the
application of the open records law (Government Records Access and
Management Act), the open and public meetings law, and other records
mandates and issues. Incumbent will provide effective customer service and
will assist assigned agencies in identifying, appraising, scheduling and
managing records in accordance with state laws and policies. Incumbent must
have the ability to apply records management principles to electronic
records. Incumbent must have basic computer skills and preferably experience
with databases. Incumbent must have the ability to learn new computer
applications. Incumbents must have strong analytical skills, and must also
have the ability to do legal research and to communicate effectively.
