Simons: Old books hide even older secrets from Middle Ages It’s normally held in a vault in the Bruce Peel Special Collections Library, underground at the University of Alberta. The library has no record of when or how this book arrived in its collection. But as old as the dictionary appears, it hides a secret far older. Inside the heavy oak cover is a parchment liner. Other pieces of the same parchment are stuffed into the spine, to bind the book block together. http://bit.ly/WF5oIS Source: http://www.edmontonjournal.com/life/Simons+books+hide+even+older+secrets+from+Middle+Ages/7418433/story.html See if people are clicking on this link: http://bit.ly/WF5oIS+ Try the bitly.com sidebar to see who is talking about a page on the web: http://bitly.com/pages/sidebar -- Peter Kurilecz CRM CA [log in to unmask] Richmond, Va http://twitter.com/RAINbyte http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/RAINbyte/ http://paper.li/RAINbyte/rainbyte http://pinterest.com/pakurilecz/archives/ http://pinterest.com/pakurilecz/records-management/ http://www.linkedin.com/in/peterakurilecz Information not relevant for my reply has been deleted to reduce the electronic footprint and to save the sanity of digest subscribers List archives at http://lists.ufl.edu/archives/recmgmt-l.html Contact [log in to unmask] for assistance To unsubscribe from this list, click the below link.
