It's great when you can read an article and it completely clarifies an 
experience you had 27 years earlier. 

I saw Timothy Leary speak in 1986 while he doing a visiting presentation at 
Western Washington University where I was then a senior. At the time I could 
not hardly understand what he was talking about, except I knew it had 
something to do with computers, and that he was trying to sell us all 
something before we left the auditorium. Reading this NY Times article I'm sure 
now that it was the video game "Mind Mirror" that he was pitching. 

I wonder how I would have turned out had I purchased it. Maybe I would 
never have become a records manager. Haha.
