The Northern California ARMA Chapters invite you to attend a timely seminar,

"Computer Technology Exposed for RIM"
 March 6, 2014 at the SanDisk Corporation in Milpitas, California.

The IIMC is authorizing 0.5 CMC Experience point or .5 MMC Advanced
Education point and ICRM has authorized 4.5 educational credits for
attending.

Speakers and a panel of technology experts will explore key issues that will
give information managers a better grasp on the behind the scenes impact of
computer technology on the current and future path of information
governance.

Pat Franks, coordinator of both the Master of Archives and Records
Administration (MARA) degree and the SLIS Internship Program at San Jose
State University will describe the importance of managing structured
information in databases like Oracle's PeopleSoft and medical records.

Bassam Zarkout, expert in Enterprise Information Governance Platforms, will
talk about partnership programs between IT and RM that will help to better
manage new computer technology platforms.

Patrick Cunningham, ARMA Fellow and information Governance strategist will
outline approaches on how to fulfill the needs of the internal customer and
demystify the bells and whistles of common software solutions.

A panel of computer technology practitioners who will address a number of
pre-arranged and audience generated questions which include issues like pros
and cons of working within the internet cloud environment.
