Training and education are key to continued career development. Records
Managers must acquire new skill sets to succeed in an increasingly complex
and challenging business environment. Time to up your game!
A new comprehesive book, "Managing Electronic Records: Methods, Best
Practices, and Technologies" (Wiley, 2013) is the new 'Gold Standard'
textbook on Electronic Records Management (ERM), and the basis for new
online classes hosted by the E-records Institute at IMERGE Consulting.
The courses are streamed live, online in HD video and delivered to your
desktop. Save time and costs - no need to travel. Participate in class online
and follow the discussion using your textbook. A full Learning Management
System is used: Raise your hand electronically with a question, respond to a
class poll, take practice quizzes, and later you still have access to the
archived video of the class, if needed.
The ERM-Basic Concepts & Fundamentals ("ERM-B") class will be held March
25-27, 11am-4pm ET, with an addditional optional hour of study hall. ERM-
Advanced Methods and Best Practices ("ERM-A") is being held April 22-24,
same times.
Faculty include Robert Smallwood, Barclay Blair, Charmaine Brooks, CRM, Lori
Ashley, and others. Both classes lead to a Certificate upon completion of the
final exam. More info is contained in the attached detailed syllabus.
