I rarely get caught up in any of these discussions, but because of my
undergraduate education (minor in Philosophy - a requirement at the time in
Catholic Universities), I have to add that Larry and Nick are both right.

They just have different opposing assumptions and to me that made the
discussion was somewhat interesting.  Once you start out with different
assumptions, one can justify their perspective and conclusions.  As for me,
I have my own beliefs , which I'll keep to myself that enable me to function
as a an information/records management/governance/consultant to Biotechs and
Pharma.
