About the Opportunity

This is an open position within FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary
of FirstEnergy Corp. (SC00)

The position is located in Oak Harbor, Ohio at the Davis Besse power plant.

It is responsible for assuring that the legal and regulatory
requirements for records management are fulfilled at the assigned

work location.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing the resources and day-to-day activities of the site records
management operations

- Communicating and monitoring standard records management practices
and policies

- Providing records management training to site personnel

- Managing corrective actions as needed and bringing records
management processes into compliance

- Providing electronic records management system training. Ensuring
satisfactory performance and qualification of assigned

personnel, by managing work areas, record storage facilities and
equipment, establishing process controls and systems, and by

verifying all administrative controls established for record
management are understood and implemented

- Establishing good working relationships and achieving excellent
customer service at the assigned work location

- Participating in industry organizations and maintaining a current
knowledge of record management best practices

- Maintaining knowledge of both corporate and nuclear record
management activities and inter-relationships

- Maintaining a high level of safety commitment throughout day-to-day functions

- Driving continuous improvement across the business unit and FirstEnergy

- Reporting to manager on the progress of various projects, and advise
on any issues that could impair the successful

completion of projects

- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems on projects
and/or processes

- Understanding and scheduling work according to departmental budget

- Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
and broaden/deepen relationship

- Anticipating customers' needs and propose alternative solutions when necessary

- Conducting mid-year and year-end performance reviews with employees

- Accountable for the performance of a team or unit

- Executing the performance management process by providing feedback
and coaching on an ongoing basis throughout the

year by discussing development opportunities, performance issues, and
changes that are occurring

- Managing employees' performance to achieve established objectives.

- Encouraging open, honest, direct, and ongoing conversation amongst
team members

- Leading, educating, and directing others to improve team
effectiveness and communicate results/recommendations to varying

audiences.

- Setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion;
coordinate work activities with other supervisors and/or managers

- Analyzing complex issues and developing actionable recommendations

- Actively seeking and sharing own knowledge of industry trends,
competitors, etc. that affect the Business Unit and the

company

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree required

- Minimum 7 years professional work experience

- Supervisory experience preferred with working knowledge of federal
regulations, industry standards

- Ability to analyze data, and knowledge or experience with automated
document management systems

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and the ability
to lead others in achieving goals for the benefit of the

business unit and the company

- In-depth knowledge of information systems such as IBM P8 (FileNet)
and SAP preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft

Office tools and Lotus Notes

- Requires travel regularly to the corporate general office or other
record management locations as needed for training,

communications, and backup or assistance to other record supervisors

- Highly driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic leader capable of
communicating, motivating, and driving workforces toward

positive change and improvement

- Experience in process/project development, planning/analysis, and
performance reporting

- Exceptional relationship management, leadership, teamwork, and
managerial skills

- Superior customer relations skills and strong written and oral
communication skills to make clear, accurate, and concise

reports

- Ability to adapt communication skills to all audiences

- Ability to work well under pressure

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and the ability
to lead others in achieving goals for the benefit of the

business unit and company

- Ability to make accurate decisions and demonstrate sound judgment
