I have recently noticed via my contacts that there is a marked decrease in the salary that companies are willing to pay information managers. They do seem to want very qualified people, but as pointed out are offering beer money.
Anyone else seen this?

>I am updating a presentation on "where do you find a records manager" and in doing so have viewed over 100 current record management job listings. One of the reoccurring problems, is that companies list high level job requirements but don't want to pay any money. It >is the old "champagne tastes and beer budgets". I estimate about a $40,000 gap. Companies don't want to pay for interviewing, moving or experience. A qualified CRM with over 5 years experience certainly is worth the price of a similar lawyer.
