Good morning,

Does anyone consider their company's Business Recovery Plan(s) a record - or do you consider it "reference material" ?

We have individual plans for each department in the company and the department is the owner of their plan. The first few pages are all the same but then they break down into individual plans. The BCP team originates out of our HR department.

Currently the plans are not listed on record retention schedules (we have departmental record retention schedules).

I can see it both ways - what does everyone else do?

Thank you - beautiful day in Wisconsin!
Jeanne
