Hello Everyone!

I have been lurking on the list for 4 years now. I was a web developer for
many years and then made the jump into Information Management.I used to do
some records management, and found this list a valuable resource. I then
went into digital archives work, and still find the list very useful.
Thanks to all of you for sharing information and resources!

I am working with redaction, specifically email redaction. Although, I will
also be working with document redaction as well (pretty much mainstream
formats like Word, PDF, etc.). This is done for researchers, but I know
that many RM and law professionals do it in their work.

I know that I can redact in PDF using Acrobat Pro, but I have also read
that this can be flawed (

Have any of you found issues with PDF redaction?

Can anyone recommend a good redaction program? I would prefer open source
and cheap, but I am looking at all options right now.
