Shipping companies' computers compromised by malware-infected Chinese scanners | CSO Online Malware-infected scanners sold by a Chinese manufacturer led to the theft of sensitive financial and operational data from at least a half-dozen U.S. and European logistics and shipping companies. The malware was also found in software available for download on the manufacturer's Website, security vendor TrapX reported Thursday. The malicious app was the first stage of a three-stage attack dubbed Zombie Zero that compromised business software and sent data back to facilities linked to the Chinese military. http://bit.ly/1rdU6rV Source: http://www.csoonline.com/article/2452986/data-protection/shipping-companies-computers-compromised-by-malware-infected-chinese-scanners.html?source=CSONLE_nlt_newswatch_2014-07-11#tk.rss_dataprotection See if people are clicking on this link: http://bit.ly/1rdU6rV+ Try the bitly.com sidebar to see who is talking about a page on the web: https://bitly.com/pages/sidebar List archives at http://lists.ufl.edu/archives/recmgmt-l.html Contact [log in to unmask] for assistance To unsubscribe from this list, click the below link.
