This is rich... the House is gonna "fire workers who destroy records".

How about we ask those same House members to write down the definition of a
record in the Federal arena?

If they want a "plan to prevent a repeat" they better find a way to
appropriate some SERIOUS funds to develop policies, foster practices,
establish procedures, perform training, and audit compliance.

Multiply that by the number of Agencies and offices across the country and
in some instances, AROUND THE WORLD, they better find A LOT of MONEY!!!

And, if they look at what has happened with things like FBI's "Virtual Case
File" and NARA's "Electronic Records Archive" and countless Agencies failed
e-mail system deployments... they better think LONG and HARD about turning
this over to consultants and contractors, unless they have an extremely
tight scope and hard and fast budgets!!! Things like this tend to 'grow
legs' and get out of control.
