Hidden files in horse trailer cost PRC $25,000 | Albuquerque Journal News
The cost to taxpayers of a whistleblower lawsuit against the state Public
Regulation Commission has jumped another $25,000 – after the widow of a
retired PRC investigator discovered government files stashed in a horse
trailer.
The PRC has paid that amount in court-ordered sanctions for withholding the
files in the case of a former agency employee who was fired after reporting
that supervisors and other PRC employees were searching X-rated and other
questionable websites on government computers.
