Director, Records Management - Law Firm



Special Counsel Information Governance is seeking candidates for a Director, Records Management job in Washington, DC! If you wish to be considered for this opportunity, you must have at least 10 years of experience in a law firm. In this position, you will be creating and maintaining procedures for implementing records management systems office-wide, as well as ensuring accurate and cost-effective storage, filing, and retrieval of all records. Responsibilities of the Director, Records Management job:

* Ensure effective use of records management software

* Evaluate costs associated with on-site and off-site storage and file destruction

* Recommend methods for decreasing records retention costs, and for increasing services

* Prepare the annual records budget



Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business Administration a plus

* CRM certification is preferred

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role

* Knowledge of budgeting processes
