Subject: The Information Governance Conference - Just Approved for 12.5
Hours of ICRM Credit for $299 - Hartford, CT Sept 8-10

Dear Listserv,

I am very pleased to announce that the Information Governance Conference
(InfoGovCon) has now been approved for 12.5 hours of ICRM credit. Should
you wish to take additional post conference sessions, up to 23 total CRM
maintenance credits are available . We are also in the process of obtaining
CLE credit for paralegals through the NFPA.

For those of you not familiar with InfoGovCon, the Conference is a bit
different from other information industry conferences as our focus is on
brining various disciplines together, not just within the records community,
to discuss best practices, upcoming issues across the disciplines and of
course network with new colleagues. So while we'll still see our fellow
records managers and friends at the conference, you can meet practitioners
from privacy, security, technology, compliance, law and libraries. Plus,
there will be 50+ amazing speakers over three days that are leaders within
their field lecturing in their areas of expertise. Full speaker list is
here: http://infogovcon.com/schedule/speakers. With a link to the
schedule: http://infogovcon.com/schedule.

Did I mention that the Information Governance Initiative (IGI) will also be
holding their own track at the conference!

The Information Governance Conference is in Hartford, Connecticut on
September 8-10, 2014. For more information on attendance and promotional
opportunities please visit: http://infogovcon.com/.

Plus, for my listserv colleagues, if you use the discount code IKINFOGOV,
you'll save an additional 25% off the core conference registration fee of
$299. With less than a month to go registration is located here:
http://infogovcon.com/get-tickets

For any students interested in attending, we are very supportive of helping
to build careers for our upcoming practitioners, a student rate of $95 is
available.

If any of you have any questions about the conference, ideas for next year,
conference logistics or about sponsorship opportunities, please do not
hesitate to each out to me. We are very excited about this event and have
over 100 people attending so far, with one month left of last minute
registrants so we expect registration to double very quickly.

I'm looking forward to seeing you in Hartford in a few weeks - ilona
