Search the term in the subject line and you find articles on a bill that 
was introduced yesterday that would change credit reports in several ways. 
Of interest to this group, it would limit the amount of time that adverse 
information could stay on a credit report. More importantly for us, it 
would require creditors to retain all relevant records related to the 
adverse information for the period that the adverse information remains on 
the credit report.

Now how's that for an event-driven retention.
