To be an Archivist, it requires a graduate degree, and very specific

(2) MLS
Or three that some MLS programs offer archival courses

The sole requirement to call yourself an Archivist in America is the same
as calling yourself a Records Manager, you just do it.

Not necessarily, there  is no requirement for Archival certification or
training to call yourself an Archivist.
