Greetings,

I am putting together a PPT for training staff about RM and I am hoping you can help me on the wording of something in regards to the retention schedule.

I am trying to say that because the destruction/transfer, etc. dates are stated on the retention schedule, it releases you from any further obligation to keep them. I think I am on the right track with this, I just wanted to craft the wording a bit. I think a bit of legalese would be helpful to make that point that following the retention schedule is important.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well. This is the first of the staff trainings at my organization, I want to make sure I hit all the important points without it becoming information overload.

Thanks in advance.

Lisa
