What are the comparisons between a RM certificate from a college and the
ARMA certificate? Which is looked upon as the more favorable credential?
I know the gold standard is the CRM.
<<

Well, there are certificates and then there are certificates. I once
received a certificate as a Doctor of Thinkology from the Universitatus
Committeatum E Pluribus Unum. Okay, that was the Scarecrow, not me. But I
do have a certificate showing I took the ethics training here at work.

A certificate from a college or university generally proves that you took
a selection of courses focusing on a specific topic, as opposed to an
actual degree in that topic.

I have never heard of "the ARMA certificate."

The CRM is not a certificate, it is a professional certification from the
ICRM.

Which is more favorable? That depends, I suppose (but on what, I don't
know.) I do know that job postings often state that a CRM is preferred,
but I've never seen one ask for a certificate.
