Aloha Judy,

Sorry to hear that you won't be at the conference...I understand your plight, as my company has withdrawn it's support at the 9th hour, so I may be going to my last ARMA conference for a while on my "own dime." Retirement for me is "down the road", so I'll still be "messing with records" and it's challenges in the near term...

ARMA may have been good for you, but YOU have also been good for ARMA...You've served your country and ARMA well. It was great meeting you and your hubby at the ARMA conferences and I'll miss your candid and thoughtful ideas. Never be a stranger and hopefully, I'll see you somewhere in ARMA-ville.

Have a Happy Aloha Friday y'all!!!

Brian

I just wanted to tell all who will be going to conference this year to have a great time. It looks like my ARMA time has come to an end. Funding is next to impossible for attending non-government training. Since I'll be retiring at the end of 2015, I was hoping to make this my last conference, but it just wasn't meant to be. ARMA was very good to me. I learned a lot about our profession. I met the most wonderful people, who I will consider friends for the rest of my life. My greatest joy was serving the members during my three years on the Board of Directors. Hopefully some year I'll be able to "pop" in to a conference (social time), just to say hello. If anyone is ever in Central Texas, please give me a call. I'd love to get together. Take care, learn a lot, and party hard!

Judy
