Tony,
Excellent report! I would suspect that the price has dropped drastically
since the 2008 publishing of that report. To Peter's point, a single tb
drive from Western Digital or other commonly available device is not
suitable from an enterprise perspective. Tier 3 of this report would
probably be the high end today. There are excellent storage solutions in
the 1K to 2K per TB range and if you are comfortable with the cloud, that
price point drops dramatically.
