I also took all 5 in the same week -- figured I would know what to study for then. I passed all 5 the first time, but it took me 3 times to pass Part 6 (definitely a different animal; and different skill set). I studied on my own for 1-5; but did some prep classes for part 6. Also, had a formal mentor for Part 6 and it really helped!!!

Good luck!

It was outstanding advice.<<

I took all 5 back in 2004 in the old "ScanTron" format, I passed 4 of 5 and, yes, it did help me see what I had to fine tune... so I would agree with that "Dr. Langemo guy". He may know a thing or two, maybe he'll write a book someday???

Seriously, it does all depend on your personal style, but if you are willing to take the lump or two you get by not passing the first time, it is an excellent strategy.

I would also agree with Jason regarding attending a prep seminar and/or using the ICRM Prep product (available to chapters or usually as a Pre-/Post- Con. It does well to ease the fears and prepare you for the format of the exams as well as provide a solid "refresh" on the annotated outline. If you haven't already done so, please download the ICRM Handbook found here: http://www.icrm.org/wp-

Best of luck, and we look forward to seeing your name among the new CRMs very soon Phil!
