The professional association for corporate librarians that is equivalent to ARMA is SLA, Special Libraries Association http://www.sla.org
I don't know how much of their reference material is available to non-members, possibly not much. Managing a corporate library isn't that different from managing any other type of library, scaled down or not. There are basic processes and activities common to all sort of libraries, and there are specific tasks involved in down-sizing and/or closing libraries. I've been a member of SLA and other professional library associations for many years, so feel free to contact me off list to discuss further.
