What is the most interesting old record you have come across - working for the Uniting Church a Baptismal Register from the then Methodist Church one of the first here in Australia dated from between 1850 - 1901, it was in an old battered small box was it had been found amongst an old church council secretary's home and after she had died her family thought we would like it.......that was in 2007, so goodness knows how many hands it had gone though, it was white kit leather bound book that was wrapped in tissue paper and was just beautiful to look at hardly a mark on the white cover and the beautiful writing inside, words fail me.
