This article piqued my curiosity in a few ways, but failed to actually tell me some of the tools available. I'm often put in the position to discuss issues of FOIA compliance regarding devices used by government employees, but thus far have had precious little to offer agencies in terms of solutions other than blanket policies banning certain types of communications. As many agencies now have BYOD policies I'm curious about "virtual number" technologies, and whether they in fact allow an organization to capture and manage communications generated from a device with such tech installed when using the virtual number. Do any of you have experience with this, or could you point me at some resources/tools that demonstrate its utility?

Thanks

Subject: The future of BYOD: Containerisation of communication

BYOD management to date has largely focused on securing mobile devices for accessing email and enterprise apps on employees’ personal devices. The primary use of mobile devices, namely, calling and texting, is now creating a lot of anxiety for CIOs, in the context of enterprise messaging and business calling.

Let’s take a look at some key challenges for BYOD communications in the enterprise, and potential solutions.
