Subject: Florida - Mosquito Control to start taping, archiving meetings`


Meetings of the Florida Keys Mosquito Control Board might be videotaped
starting in March but it'll be longer before they're streamed live online.

Meeting Jan. 20 in Marathon, commissioners voted to spend $2,500 on audio
and visual equipment. But don't expect the camera coverage to go beyond one
lens.

"City Commission has multiple cameras and workers. Our taping will be more
away from the dais," Chairman Steve Smith said. "You won't see the camera
zooming in on us. This is initially an exercise in learning how to use it."
