You might consider one record series for submitted government reports or
reporting, and fold all of your government reports under that one record
series. You will have to do the tedious research, but that, as the Duke
used to say, "goes with the territory." Absent some guiding regulatory
citation, you might use a retention period that aligns with your common
risk or compliance retention periods.
