November 12th ARMA Liberty Bell Chapter Dinner Meeting

Presentation Title: The Information Governance Assessment

Presentation Summary:
In a world of ever-rising concerns of privacy, security and protecting intellectual 
property, electronically stored information  customers who are now more information 
savvy, and are insisting that companies whom they do business with are maintaining high 
standards when it comes to internal information governance (IG) strategies and practices.  
Companies of the future must know where their strengths and weaknesses are when it 
comes to managing information. 

In this session, you will learn how an IG assessment can play a critical role in taking your 
organization to the Next Level in preparing to meet your customers increasing demands 
and expectations for governing their information.  You’ll understand what it takes to 
deploy a enterprise-wide assessment to establish a baseline, understand the reports 
gathered from the assessment to build a road map for corrective actions,  and hear about 
real-world experiences with implementation and leveraging outcomes. This session is a 
live online meeting, so interactive is encourage.     

Speaker:   
David Vickers from ARMA International - As director of sales for ARMA International, 
David Vickers’ strategic focus is on information governance products and services for 
organizations in all market sectors and of all sizes, including Fortune 100 companies. His 
drive and passion for helping organizations increase their value by harnessing their 
information assets through information management best practices have contributed to 
his success at ARMA and as a consultant, systems integrator, regional manager for a 
software manufacturer, and company owner.
