Speaker Bio: ANN K. SNYDER, Senior Fellow
In her role as Senior Fellow at the IGI, Ann’s responsibilities include managing the IGI’s
research efforts and creation of editorial and other content for publication. She oversees
the IGI’s Task Force Program which, in collaboration with members of the IGI community,
develops practical tools for use by IG practitioners.
Ann is an experienced litigator, with a background including products liability/mass tort,
antitrust, intellectual property, and commercial litigation. She has helped clients develop
strategic approaches to high-volume e-discovery projects through leveraging available
technologies and effective project management techniques. She has also written and
spoken extensively on domestic and international free speech issues. Ann is currently
serving as Membership Director in the Philadelphia Chapter of Women in eDiscovery.

retention to big data, and the other emerging information management challenges with
the authority to effectuate change? The Chief Information Governance Officer (CIGO).
