While I've been on this listserve from its beginnings, it seems appropriate for me to reintroduce myself. After decades in the utility/energy space, I recently embarked on a new adventure to become the Los Angeles Unified School District's first records manager. I'm new to the public sector, and the education space so look forward to getting to know my fellow records managers in education - I particularly hope to chat with those of you subject to California's Code of Education which requires records to be placed into one of three buckets: "Permanent," "Disposable," and "Optional" - I know...
