It appears the FDA is finally taking the whole cyber security risk issue
related to medical devices, including, but not limited to hospital and
medical office installed equipment seriously. This draft guidance goes
deeper than just how medical information "at rest" is protected, it looks
at how to assess potential risks and prevent exposure in advance.

These articles, from 2008 through 2015, all show how this has been a huge
issue... from clinical equipment and devices to insulin pumps and
pacemakers, for quite some time now.
