Who is looking forward to the self-driving car?

I AM.

Considering the distracted and deranged drivers I have to content with every day, a machine certainly couldn't do any worse. Accident lawyers already understand this fact.

Of course, I am sure those special drivers won't ever use a self-driving car because they wouldn't want their demolition derby skills to be wasted. Unlike people, a self-driving car won't try to shave, brush it's teeth, and talk and text while it is driving.  I remember the first time I saw the self-driving car in the movie Demolition Man. I remember thinking that couldn't happen soon enough. That was over 20 years ago and I think it's more true now than it was then!
