*Job Summary*

Designs, implements and administers the information governance system.
Develops and implements strategies to 1) ensure the integrity of
electronically stored information and related metadata; 2) ensure reliable
access to business information; and 3) safeguard the trustworthiness of the
system as changes, upgrades and enhancements.



*Principal Duties & Responsibilities*

Implements the system identification and classification scheme, and
controlled vocabulary.



Monitors metadata to describe records and documents the preservation
process.



Develops and maintains the security classification framework.



Establishes and manages access control protocols for records and
information systems by following an organized and periodic review model.



Develops and automates policies and procedures according to records and
information management best practices and organizational requirements.



Resolves issues and inconsistencies identified within the storage
repository.



Administers the life cycle retention process including the disposition
process (review, qualify, and approve destruction).



Responds to special access requests from the business for services such as
data extraction.



Receives and evaluates reports to assure system is meeting requirements,
and requests ad hoc reports as needed.
