The Greater Chattanooga Area Chapter of ARMA, is delighted to bring
Monica Crocker, Group Records Coordinator for Wells Fargo Bank, to
Chattanooga on April 10 to present a workshop titled "A Practical, Hands-
On Approach to Taxonomy Development"
Monica will walk us through why information classification is important,
how to build a classification scheme that supports all use cases, and how to
maintain it over the life of the system.
Monica is excited to come to Chattanooga to share her presentation and
provide a hands-on workshop. Participants are encouraged to bring a list of
record categories or metadata field names from their environment to use in
the workshop portion when Monica will guide us through creating a
classification system that has "real-world" application.
The half-day workshop will be held in the Foundry Room at the
Chattanoogan Hotel on April 10, 2018. Registration will begin at 8:30 with
coffee and the workshop will start at 9:00, breaking for lunch from 11:30
to noon and concluding at 1:30 p.m. The cost is $50 and includes lunch
and free valet parking.
