Wish I could respond that there was a list of RM-professionals 10 inches
thick teaching at the UW. But there is nothing. UW used to have the best
Records and Information Management Certificate Program. At one point, area
employers recruited from this program's graduates almost exclusively. But no
more.......

<<< Yes, Sharon. That is a shame to hear, and thanks for your response. I was hoping to hear a positive response for possible distance courses.
Unfortunately, this school has lost a great deal for all that it has also recently gained. The mass exodus of qualified professors began the year I was a senior, and we all had trouble securing our courses. In fact, this is how I almost wound up with a major in Photography, as all courses for my major were completely over-crowded, so I went to the Art School for a while. So for then and now... I obviously still don' t know what I want to be when I grow up either. : ) However, Records Management has been challenging and fascinating.

I do know it is extremely difficult to find Records Management courses at the Universities, so all that is shared and taught with resources like this are greatly appreciated by those of us just getting started.

As far as "Uncle Bill" seems like he wrote something fairly flattering about
the records management profession in his last book "Business @ the Speed of
Thought." Chapter 4, I think?<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Thanks, I will look into this reference : )

Congratulations to all of you who have recently sat for your exams!!

Take a well-deserved rest!

Cheers All! Have a great weekend.
