This is, I believe, my first message to this list. I'm an IM Clerk at
Health Canada and I've been here, off and on, for about 4 years. I've
worked as well as a Records Classifier as well as a current wider variety
of duties.

I have just been advised that LIVELINK is one of the best records
management softwares on the market and because I have never heard it
mentioned previously, I wondered if any List members are using this
package and would be willing to share some feedback on its functionality
etc

We've been using Livelink (aka iRIMS) for a few years now at Health Canada.
The Department of Indian and Northern Affairs (another department of the
Government of Canada) has been using the software for a longer time than we
have. Perhaps there is an INAC person on this list with more experience
than me.

I would recommend this software for many reasons. We have a functional
classification system and the software is compatible with a future set-up
of electronic document management. I don't have full functionality myself,
but I am a regular used and would be happy to answer specific questions if
I am able.
