The National Archives-Southwest Region, NAGARA, Texas State Library and Archives Commission, Society of Southwest Archivists, and the University of Texas School of Information invites you to attend the annual E-Records Forum on April 27-28, 2006, at the University of Texas, J. J. Pickle Center. A preliminary program is on the NAGARA website now at www.nagara.org <http://www.nagara.org>.
This year the program includes an update on the design of NARA's Electronic Records Archives by Lockheed Martin from the vendor's point of view this time; A new search tool designed by Los Alamos National Laboratory for concepts instead of key words; Teaching with Electronic Documents as Primary Sources; Digital Preservation of Audio Tapes at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library; NARA-SW Region Katrina related disaster recovery issues and e-records projects with FEMA; NARA's RMA a success story from Richard Marcus, NARA Records Officer; and more.
