There will be a session at the AIIM Show in Philadelphia next month (May
17th) that will discuss litigation and backup tapes.  

I caution you that mistakes are often made, even with legal counsel, in
regards to the issues surrounding tape backups, and Bill Roach is right,
your tape supplier will at least be in contention for Salesperson of the
Year.

Subject: [RM] Back up tape retention period

My Corporate Council wants to keep back up tapes until further notice
because of a law suit.  Does anyone know of any organization doing this?
Or can anyone tell me of a known retention period for back up tapes?
Where can I research information?
