We've all heard the horror stories of companies destroying documents
improperly and getting huge verdicts and jail terms. It's enough to make
the uninformed want to save everything again. Does anyone know of any
cases where a company had in place a good retention program which
included a litigation hold process, destroyed documents pursuant to that
policy, were sued and came out "winners" or at least not convicted of
spoliation?
