Hi all,
Actually the problem with the carbon paper from a shredding point of view is
not that it damages the shredder but makes the shred output un-recyclable so
you will find that most shredding companies that recycle are unwilling to
handle it. I like the "get a new fax machine" options but cheaper yet is to
get a small office shredder to handle just the carbon paper!
At my facility, we actually have a separate shredder to handle the
unrecyclable" documents and items in order to avoid contaminating our
regular office document shred.
