I did some checking with ARMA International to see what was the current
byline. I wanted to make sure I had correct information before I fired
off another message to an editor/analyst/researcher about using American
Records Management Association as the byline for ARMA.

Here is their response:

"We are ARMA International-without tag line.

ARMA is no longer being used as an acronym just as IBM, AT&T, KFC, and
so many others. The more consistent and persistent we are the more
people will recognize ARMA International as the name."

Just my thoughts, but I don't believe their strategy is working. Any
thoughts?
