Just wanted to let you know that you can get some of the conference
hotels through package deals. For Canadian readers - I was able to get
flights and the Marriot through a "Fun Sun" charter via our Marlin
Travel agent at quite a reasonable rate.

Let's cheer on our Oilers to bring back the Stanley Cup to Edmonton !!

DATELINE LENEXA, KS.... This just in...  =)

ARMA is experiencing some server problems today, and they're hoping to
have the on-line reservation system up and running by Monday.

For those requiring immediate assistance, I'd suggest you contact Wanda
Wilson, Manager of Conferences, at www.arma.org directly and she may be
able to e-mail you a reservation form that you can return by FAX.

Also, I can tell you (from personal experience) don't bother trying to
make reservations directly at any of the first 4 hotels (Marriott
Rivercenter, Riverwalk, Hilton Palacio Del Rio, or Hyatt Regency)
because the first two have no rooms showing available, and the second
two are quoting rooms at a MINIMUM of $100/night over the ARMA posted
rates.
