The Government Records Section of the Society of American Archivists
will be publishing its next newsletter at the end of June. Most of the
articles in the newsletter will pertain to the 2006 Joint Annual
Conference of SAA-NAGARA-&-CoSA which will be held in Washington, DC,
July 30th - August 5th. (For further program information, see:
http://www.archivists.org/)
The editor would welcome content from archives and records-related
institutions in the DC area about places to visit, projects underway,
exhibits, achievements, etc. -- in short, anything that might be of
particular interest to local, state and federal government employees who
work with government archives and/or records and who might also be
traveling to DC in the near future.
However, submissions do not need to be strictly DC-focused. We would
most certainly welcome other local or regional news and pictures that
might be of interest to our section members as well. (You do not have
to be a member of the Section in order to submit content that might be
of interest.)
Deadline for submissions: Friday, June 23. Send your news items,
articles, or photos via email to: [log in to unmask]
Thank you.
