Dress Code?
We don't gots no steenkin' DRESS CODE!!!
For those attending your FIRST Listserv Party, while I won't go as far as to
say it's a"Clothing Optional" event, it's about as close to that as you
elect to consider. Wear what you want, but don't wear anything you don't
want.
As always, I'll be the guy in the Hawaiian Shirt and shorts... and that will
be true at Conference and the Listserv Party. Generally, I'm good for long
pants one day at Conference... just to keep people guessing =)
At the New Orleans (2002) Listserv post-party, I was the one whose back was
covered with everyone elses name tags. When I got to my room, I peeled
about 30 of them off from my various "friends". This event was a rare
one-of-a-kind, where we actually had an entire venue to ourselves, the
Howlin' Wolf Saloon gave us the run of the place for 3 hours, after which a
number of us decided to stumble over to Mulate's Restaurant and enjoy a
meal, Live Music and even some dancing for another few hours. Did I mention
that we were there between two hurricanes (Isadore and Lili)???
